To give you an idea Zero, look at the end of your TV remote with a mobile phone camera while pressing buttons, you'll see a bright blue light.

Infra-red light is invisible to the human eye but can be seen through any digital camera.

They are claiming to be able to see in pitch black up to 50feet... so yeah infra-red
