Scorpion was always more popular than Sub-Zero. Movie-"GET OVER HERE!" Game-"COME HERE!" And both would be considered Villians.

I can think of only ONE decent game that Optimus was in, and he wasn't even the main character.

It never said decent games or not, and I am pretty sure Sub-Zero was not a villain, in all the movies he was one of the good guys. Heroes dont HAVE to save people...did Cloud ever save anybody? Did Mastur Cheef ever save anybody? The pyro is just an awesome game hero. Shadow the hedgehog is unique, as he plays the role of both a villain and a hero. In the game, Shadow the Hedgehog, it says how the character is aimed at being both, depending on the preference of the viewer. It also said that in the Sonic shows/movies/games, how people will perceive him is different. He was considered a hero by Maria, but a villain by others.

You obviously didn't watch the first MK movie OR learn the story of Mortal Kombat (Based on the games).

They save the day, that doesn't mean saving people. You can still save the day after 100 million people have died.

He stopped Sephiroth, but think to Kingdom Hearts. He was evil in that game (might not necessarily be evil, but he was not good either). Also, prior to his defeating sephiroth he was a warrior, and wasn't actually a good person.

I have a degree in idiocy, just an fyi.

I also have an advanced diploma in arguing.

I intend to see Sonic the Hedgehog facing off against Banjo and Kazooie.

Sonic has been around more than most other characters, being developed by Sega, and Banjo/Kazooie was just one of the best game SERIES ever made. Also being invincible due to the spamming of gold feathers and the ability to use cheats to get LOTS of eggs and feathers.

I would have to say either Mario or sonic due to both being awsome but due to Halo and its ridiculously huge popularity rating it's hard to choose. But I reckon they should move away from the Classics (yes I know the Mario and Sonic brands are still releasing games...) and shine on the new heroes of the 21 century. But if I had to choose I would pick shepard from Mass Effect due to my undieing love for the game.
