NeoTokyo Brackets Announced + Competition Rules
The Brackets have been posted for this weekends competition
-1.1 Match Description
The matches will consist of thirteen (13) rounds, first team to win seven (7) rounds will be judged the victor. Each round will be four (4) minutes long with an additional fifteen (15) seconds of freeze time at the beginning of each round.
-1.2 Players Required
Players have a maximum time of fifteen (15) minutes to join the server after the intended (or default) time. Matches will need a minimum of four (4) players per team. If a team does not have the minimum required number of players in the server after the fifteen (15) minutes the match will be forfeit and the opposing team will win by default. If in the event that both teams do not have the minimum required number of players in the server after the intended fifteen (15) minutes the match will be postponed to a later date.
-1.3 Server Choice and Player Connectivity Issues
All matches will be played on the Quadeye.com.au Competition Servers. Teams will need to accommodate for latency issues themselves. NTAU and Quadeye.com.au are not responsible for players who experience connectivity problems. Teams should have back-up players ready to join if a player gets disconnected or lags out and is unable to continue.
-1.4 Live Match
Once a match has been deemed live, teams are not allowed to restart or pause the match for any reason.
-1.5 Player Substitutions
Player substitutions are allowed at anytime during the course of the match. The substitute is only allowed to join the server after the player whom they are substituting has left. Failure to comply and allowing reasonable advantage over the opposing team will result in a turnover of up to three (3) rounds.
